Sustainable raw material- Bamboo
Bamboo is naturally and abundantly found all over the world. A bamboo plant takes approximately three years to mature before it can be harvested. Mature bamboo tapioca that is left uncut will naturally wither and die after the period.
Timely harvest is therefore important to maintain the ecological cycle.
At Green Compostables, we use high-end technology to convert harvested bamboo stalks into bamboo powder or bamboo flakes and granules which is then used for creating compostable cutlery, tableware, utensils and other packaging materials.
Our products, processed using biodegradable bamboo powder are easily recyclable and 100% compostable, even in home-based compost systems. Additionally, the production process does not generate any wastewater, heavy metals or toxic gases.
Compostable resin
Biodegradable resins are the buzz word when it comes to sustainable bioplastic production. The ability to create compostable plastic-like materials to replace single-use disposable plastics is a big step in reducing the plastic load on the landfills, the oceans, and the earth at large.
